Original Regional Flag(2006)

The original flag of Absolution was created using MS paint in 2006. It was a quick and easy solution to finding a banner by a Founder that had yet to discover photoshop. Note the origin of "The Keeper" which has become a distinguishing feature and identifier of the region.

First Regional Banner(Late 2006)

Created by Nerosina the day he joined Absolution circa November 2006. By the time this animated version came about a few modifications had been made to the original flag. The rising sun and descending moon have come to represent the endless vigil of the region. The symbolism contained within the flag have proven overtime to mirror our residents precisely.

Current Regional Banner(mid 2007)

The banner we use today which was also created by Nerosina shortly after I discovered photoshop. The final version shows the keeper protecting what is his and the means by which he will do it. The region, while representing peace among nations, is by no means easily intimidated and when provoked has proven many times that they are not a force to be underestimated.

Second Regional Map

The first map of the region has unfortunately been lost forever. It was a color coordinated map displaying all nations within the region. A list of nations underneath the map used a numbering system to show each nation's relation to one another. It was discontinued in early 2007 and replaced with the generic map we see today. Gyntav the First

The unifier of the region. Gyntav rose up some time following the fall of the Roman empire. He is known as the Founder of todays Regional Guard. Read More...

The nation of Assorro boasts to be the home of Gyntav. This fact is disputed however as there is no factual evidence to support this claim. Gyntav did set up his base of operations within Assorro and lived there until his death but as to being an actual native to the area historical documents are vague, incomplete or missing altogether.

Itselfness

Not much can be stated about Itselfness. He is quiet and reserved; speaking rarely in public. Itselfness was the third official member to the region. One of a handfull of members who are accredited to the inspiration to build upon a foundation. The oldest elder, Itselfness is one of the two surviving original five members that first inhabited the region in late 2006.

Arming Republics

Arming Republics is the only other surviving original five member. The fifth official member to the region, he has become the longest serving Absolutionist as well as the second oldest regional Elder. He has proven himself to be a clever tactician and sharp politician. He has numerous credits to his name and began earning them not long after the origins of the region.

Lach-Land

Lord Lach-Land, as he first announced himself to the region upon his arrival not long after the original five members has always been an endearing figure within the region. The third oldest regional Elder, Lach-Land has seen the region grow almost from its roots and has participated in almost every event we've ever undertaken. He is also credited as the region's first recruited member.

Nerosina

Nerosina can be a powerhouse of wit and tenacity. He is the fourth regional elder and has been within the region since it numbered about 25 in late 2006. Nerosina is credited as the member that sparked Assorro's interest in developing regional web projects. His banner has been inducted as the flag of The Ministry.

Tamatun

Tamatun ranks as the youngest of the current five regional Elders but nonetheless has contributed in all aspects of our development. She co-founded the Council of Nations and was the member responsible for instigating debate over the raising of a regional government.

Regional Guard Crest

The Regional Guard is both a fictitious and real entity. It was initially used in a joke but has become the term used to describe the force which expels nations from the region in either a temporary or permanent capacity. The Guard is said to be comprised of members from all regional nations. The Regional Interior Ministry is a real entity which regularly employs the guard to enforce regional laws. In this sense, the guard becomes real.

Current AIA Flag

The Absolution Intelligence Agency was created as a direct result of our contribution to the defense of a region that was not our own. The AIA today represent an exterior security force that involves itself within observing raider activity. Some members have seen this legendary force rip apart deserving enemies of the region.

Original AIA Flag

Originally, the organization was made up of regional members only and controlled by the Founder of the region. Today, the agency is controlled by nations other than members. Inspite of this, Absolution continues to benefit from their protectionist measures. It is considered to be the external component of the regional guard.
